Notice of Vessel Schedule Delay on China–Malaysia Routes

Dear Valued Customer,
A recent marine collision occurred in the Zhuhai waters between WAN HAI SPRING and HAILI 5, resulting in the sinking of HAILI 5 and a temporary obstruction of the navigation channel. As a consequence, Nansha Port is currently experiencing severe congestion, and vessel schedules on all routes, including several of our China–Malaysia services have been delayed to varying degrees. Guangzhou Port Group, together with the Maritime Safety Administration, Port Authority, and Pilotage Department, is making every effort to coordinate temporary navigation and traffic diversion arrangements in order to restore normal operations as soon as possible. It is estimated that the channel will require approximately one week to fully resume normal navigation. We kindly ask for the understanding and support of all our valued customers, agents, and industry partners. Our team will continue to closely monitor the port situation and provide timely updates as new information becomes available. |
