Start cargo pre-checkWhat to confirm before shipping
These are the rules that affect acceptance, final cost, dispatch and cover. Pre-check sensitive cargo first to avoid selecting the wrong channel.
Start with chargeable weight: For West Malaysia, actual weight is charged when the volumetric-weight difference is 20KG or less; for East Malaysia, the allowance is 10KG. When exceeded, 50% of the excess difference is added to chargeable weight (half-volumetric calculation).
01 | Dispatch and final charge
Under normal conditions, shipments paid by 6:00PM daily are scheduled for same-day warehouse dispatch. The warehouse is closed on Saturdays and affected shipments move to the next working day. Airline tariffs, capacity or regulatory changes may affect rates and estimated transit time; the system settlement at dispatch is final.
02 | Size, East Malaysia and special destinations
East Malaysia ABX is limited to 10KG per shipment; heavier shipments move to a regular air-freight channel. Labuan deliveries incur an additional RM7/KG delivery surcharge. Confirm acceptance and applicable charges first if any side exceeds 150CM or the outer package exceeds 140 × 70 × 70CM. These channels do not accept wooden frames, crates or wooden outer packaging; confirm an eligible channel first if reinforcement is required.
03 | Sensitive-cargo declaration and packing
The warehouse checks only visible abnormalities on the outer carton or packaging and does not open parcels to inspect contents. Fragile items need suitable reinforcement and channel selection; the sender is responsible for damage arising from insufficient packing. Sensitive cargo must not be declared as general cargo or sent through a general-cargo channel. The sender is liable for returns, confiscation, penalties and legal consequences from an incorrect declaration. Sensitive cargo found in a general-cargo channel during security or X-ray screening incurs a RM10 per occurrence rerouting fee; pre-dispatch correction of a declaration or channel error incurs a RM3 per occurrence amendment fee. A false or inconsistent customs declaration may lead to confiscation or return; incurred freight is non-refundable, cargo value is not compensated, and prohibited or illegal cargo remains the sender's and consignee's responsibility.
04 | Insurance, loss and transit time
Insurance is 3.5% of declared cargo value and requires a valid invoice or proof of purchase. After confirmed loss, compensation is 90% of verified cargo value, excluding freight. Without insurance, maximum compensation after confirmed loss is the lower of USD80 or three times freight paid.
Transit times are normal-condition estimates, not guaranteed delivery commitments. Delay caused by weather, customs inspection, airline disruption, policy changes, public holidays, emergencies or other uncontrollable factors—and any resulting indirect, profit or commercial loss—is not compensable. Allow adequate transit time.
